Film & Production

Storytelling as liberation
The stories that change us are often the ones the powerful would rather we never heard. I produce documentary and narrative film about people who fought for human dignity against systems built to criminalize or erase them — building the public will for accountability and repair.

What I do
As an executive producer, associate producer, and actor, I help carry justice-driven films from vision to screen — developing story, writing and administering grants, building the team, and stepping in front of the camera when the role calls for it.

Selected Work

Join the ClubAssociate Producer
A documentary on Dennis Peron, gay-liberation and AIDS-era activist and a father of the medical-cannabis movement.

Typically TraffickedExecutive Producer; plays Laura Costa (Edrie's stepmother)
A ten-minute narrative short written by Laura Costa and Edrie Black, with cinematography by Zach Macias (UCLA '13). Based on the true story of Edrie Black — a member of the Karuk Tribe of Northern California who survived trafficking and now works on behalf of survivors — and narrated in part by her young daughter, a Karuk descendant. A BOLDtFEST incubator finalist produced through Access Humboldt, backed by a $5,000 grant from Soroptimist International of Humboldt Bay, premiering at the historic Eureka Theater on October 16, 2026.

The MigraineExecutive Producer; plays Helen Trippett (Pebbles' mother)
The story of Pebbles Trippett, a lifelong civil-rights force whose fight for justice includes cannabis as a medical right.

The Production House
I work alongside an extraordinary team — writer-director Laura Costa, cinematographer Zach Macias (UCLA '13), and a growing circle of collaborators — with more on the horizon, including Laura's original series Calicos and a collection of Sasquatch stories. We're not just making films. We're building a production house for stories that move people toward justice.
